Good move?

Huh! It was only a crappy Jap ipod anyway!

A pointless move, the point remains that they thought there was nothing wrong with buying ipods with taxpayers money in the first place. That's what's wrong.

Hey David,

It wasn't right to buy the ipods......however they didn't break any rules. I think the Neagle and Lewis matter is much worse. Anyway, when you think that taxpayers money in amounts of tens of billions of pounds have been spent on supporting many banks as a result of the greed of many of their overly paid top staff....all of which was given the blessing of Gordon Brown and Darling and Blair before them......a bailout which is crippling the UK economy and causing hardiship for thousands of people which will be in the millions before this is over. And all this was allowed to happen becaus when house prices go up....people spend more and felt good and take on more debt....now allowing that to happend....even encouraging it to happend by keeping base rates low by massaging inflation figures is a feckin crime.........and you and Vaughan Roderick and Betsan Powys and BBC Wales and the Western Mail are going on and on about an ipod.......And none of these so called journalist questioned what was happening because now doubt their over-priced houses were increasing in value too.....well at least nominally. That's really what's wrong.
